Pepper Grinder

So i have been truning for about 2 months. Then i went to vist my parents in Houston, Texas. My mother found out and we went wood shopping. Well she wants me to turn her a pepper grinder. But she bought a 21 doller piece of wood. So since i am new i want to pratice, before i make her the final product. SO what i did i went to Lowes and bought an 8 foot pieace of ceder. today i am again at my parents house. I have just chopped the wood in to 1 foot sections. so i am now ready to start tuning my first peper grinder. wish me luck
